Dragonflies

    we do have the red dragonfly and the small blue ones hovering over the pond its the first time this beauty visited us. pic was taken about 6.30 pm.

    I seem to notice there has been a lot of interest in the dragonfly.

    yes FANCY, this is the dragonfly that we have every year. It is sort of a late-comer, not showing up until late in the season. We have several flying and flitting around our pond the past couple of weeks. It's a real beauty, isn't it?

    I have never seen this one before miraflores. Where did you see it? Was it early, mid or late summer?

    Fancy - really lovely pic of such a beauty, oh and the bottle brush (a real beauty too)!
