    Wow, great stuff Jazid!
    Neighbours sunbathing teenagers now think I'm a basket case but I did what you suggested. The garden is on a slope so took soil from top and bottom of border. Top - won't squish together at all, gritty and grainy; bottom - will squish together loosely but doesn't bend. Will put some in a jar later, when teens have gone in. Else it'll be all round the village that I've really lost my marbles :D :D
    perhaps the censoring thingy will implode if we all take to using such foul words as sp****, co**** and **** :D ( Sorry, couldn't resist) :D :D :D
