    No fish in our large pond @Butterfly6 (only in our small well protected small garden pond) but we do have newts, frogs and other wriggly things galore so plenty for the visiting Heron when it appears.
    Many thanks for that info @Dovefromabove I am now searching my mind for the possible whereabouts of the Heronry in the area, not to visit you understand but just interested as he/she always flies off in the same direction across our fields and off over the 1000's of acres of forest that surround us.
