    Kathy thank you you have brought back happy memories for me spent my time as a youngster growing up in Aberdeen and inthe Duthy park.

    And the boating pond,and spent many a yr rolling my egg there.

    And of course walking in delightful Duthie park itself.

    The winter gardens are a real beauty and of course the crocus.

    We were just speaking at the weekend about the crocus display at the embankment at brideg of Dee at Kincorth.

    If they are out normaly spectacular.

    I so love there displays .

    A lot of brides go to have there photos taken in the winter gardens.

    Thanks again Kathy if no snow next week will try to pop up to see you.

    thanks Bobj,Scotkat,and Walnut,had a lovely morning,great sunshine,took 118 photos,they all turned out nice,scotkat the crocus on the embankment are not at their best yet,maybe another week or two,in another month i will go to Laurencekirk and take some photos of the daffodil fields,its to die for William Wordsworth must have sat there and wrote his poem

    On route to my in laws Kathy we pass these golden fields of yellow daffis a sea of yellow.

    Such a beautiful sight.

    Ethansmum dont know if they still sell plants,but wehn my son was 7 his Granda took him to the Duthie park and he bought a cacti and we still have it and he is now 22.


    I also have photo from yrs gone past and could add to this thread if kathy does not object.

    A wonderful place to visit.

    glad you all enjoyed them ,yes you can buy some of them,it has a shop,Scotkat i would be happy for you to post your photos on here,ihave loads more and will post some later
