Earthworms

    In my compost heap I find most worms under the banana skins, so perhaps some over-ripe bananas is a good feed for them

    can these be thrown into any compost bin?or does it have to be a wormery?cos i had a luck on ebay and they are there for £2.99+£1.99p/p:cnfs:

    High temperatures in a fresh compost heap will kill worms (actually I expect they will just move out as temperature increases) but an "old", colder, heap should be teeming with them (and if not you could add them)
