Electric cars.

I've got 2 4k dash cams 1 front 1 rear + what would be the rear cam is inside rear inside corner facing front, it's all ready pay for it's self, got pulled over for using phone the rear cam said other wise and also my phone will be in my pocket + it's not even linked to blue tooth so i can't use it
As for cameras i think now you should be able to use in any public place but i agree not to film/pic's of people's house's/ gardens etc also i think you should be able to film highway because footage can be used both ways, if you have a bump and some one says it's your fault and it is not then camera footage will help prove this

 

They didn't take mine i don't know what he saw but it wasn't me using phone, i'll never use it went driving, that's why it in my pocket, even if they did look at the data it will only show 1 number, their number i won't even link it to the car because i won't use it when driving, it just a phone for emergency, in the 20years i've that the phone i only had 6 calls but made lots but not driving

 

So what if you are using your phone as a satnav.

 

I think without knowing the junction and it's road marking it's difficult to say. It seems a bit confusing just looking at the video.
They have all kinds of stuff written on the roads around here and nobody takes much notice of it, it's a case of having eyes up your backside most of the time.

People are fickle. A month ago we had our 5meg CCTV upgraded to the best 8meg cameras with full colour night vision; they are amazing. Our CCTV system is professionally installed the upgrade costing £2,100. We can view the entire length of our cul-de-sac without looking into neighbours windows.

About a week after the upgrade whilst I was working on the car I looked up to see a police officer standing next to me; he said don't be alarmed it's just that one of your neighbours has had some trouble.

The neighbours were having roof problems so they called in a roofer; the roofer arrived and did a survey stating it would cost £850 for the repair; our neighbours thanked him but said the needed another two estimates; at this the roofer said OK I'll do it for £650; once again he was told another two estimates were needed; now the roofer wasn't happy at all as he drove away. In less than a minute this roofer was on the phone demanding over £250 for his visit or he would send someone round.

The neighbours called in the police hence I ended up with a police visit. The officer was delighted when I explained I'm going to make your day telling him we'd just had the CCTV fully upgraded to the best possible domestic spec and brought him up to the bungalow where he met my wonderful wife.

We all sat and watched video footage; we saw the big white van visit our neighbours and watched as it drove away; amazingly the van stopped exactly across the street from our bungalow this was when the threatening phone call was made. The officer recorded the evidence on his mobile phone; we played the video on max size but couldn't quite make out the van number; I know there is a way to put a box around things but didn't know how. The officer was very pleased though he had the phone number and now the images of the van; he left us his card and departed.

Shortly after it occurred to me to contact the CCTV company by phone but they were engaged so I sent an email explaining the story asking if they could please identify the van's number plate; I marked it urgent. WOW ten minutes later the CCTV company phoned with the reg number; having thanked them saying what a great service I then phoned the police officer and followed up by visiting our neighbours all were most thankful.

It's one thing complaining about CCTV but another thing then wanting to take advantage of neighbours CCTV system; we feel we've spent the money to look after neighbours security. I hope the roofer gets his comeuppance. The neighbours with the problem have recently had solar panels installed; we live on a very exposed steep valley side and the slightest opening in a roof quickly makes itself known.

I've rambled on enough but if you complain about CCTV would you then want to take free advantage of it if something went wrong. We've had a dash cam for nine years; it's like having a police officer in the car for every journey so I'm a better driver because of it; I know it's also watching my driving.

I haven't got a phone, or satnav, or dashcam - can't be bothered with them. I enjoy looking at maps anyway, I think they are interesting.

The people living a few houses up the road from me have been pestered by a nasty individual who's stolen and broken their children's toys, and damaged some cars in the road, so they've installed a camera on their garage roof and when someone passes it gives out a voice saying "You are currently being recorded".
I think it's a good idea because this individual didn't take notice of a restricting order put on her, and it was difficult to prove she was the guilty person.

The people next door to me also have a camera on their door because their car has been deliberately scratched by this woman. It records me every time I go out and come back in. I don't mind, because it would also record anything this woman did to our cars.
I've got nothing to hide and haven't done anything wrong so I don't mind being recorded. My neighbours are nice people, very kind and helpful and I am the same back to them.

Are trains and planes even considered as polluters; motorists are the easy target for the government.

Pedals at each seat will drive electric generator to power electric motors and also charge batteries for those quiet times when there are not sufficient passengers. Slim as you commute.
