This one was from a member of the British Cactus & Succulent Society I actually got it as I was after another hybrid and he kindly asked if I would like some cuttings of some of his other plants.

I'm not sure if anyone sells cuttings of this paticular plant but I can highly reccomend Mike Haines who runs London Epiphyllums and also Ralph Northcott who runs CactusShop.co.uk both of them sell quality rooted cuttings however if you wanted to have a go at rooting your own (very easy!) you can buy unrooted cuttings from Paul Shirley in the Netherlands who runs PaulShirleySucculents.nl or Svante Lundqvist in Sweden who runs Epigrow.com

I'm sure I will have cuttings of other hybrids available later in the year though for anyone interested :)

      Oh @IceColdRum ,

I wish you hadn't put that website up, the London Epiphyllums one I can see me trying to save up now for one ( or two ) of the collections he's offering.
I've never seen so many :)
      Very reasonably priced as well.

Well my advice which I learnt too late to be useful is "Limit your collection!" otherwise you'll end up like me with over 250 different plants in a climate which has a far from perfect winter temperature and an ever shrinking greenhouse :gaah::snork:

I've updated my post with some better photo's, I'm quite pleased how well they turned out at 1am with an LED torch and an LCD TV as a black backdrop ;)

Thanks for the inf @IceColdRum I'll definitely send for some.
My gran had a beautiful one many years ago and I inherited it after she died. I've got a photo of it somewhere... but I lost it a long time ago.
I want to get mine to grow like she did, and like you do

I lost the main plant last year to a fungal disease, this is a cutting I salvaged and its throwing out flowers already!

@Coolsox That fungal disease is a plague with Disocacuts phyllanthoides it will often just go all black and patchy... even some of the best growers can't get it to any significant size...

Here's one from today, 'Pfau' not an amazing flower so it will probably go but nice to have a bloom all the same.

This thread is just what I've been looking for, my Dad used to grow Epiphyllums and I had a few too, once I get my new greenhouse up and running I will have to get some of these great succulents.

Just got 3 plants from an old neighbour in Leicestershire, I gave them a plant 30 years ago and I lost mine in the move north, so they sent me some rooted cuttings. My dad grew this plant back in the 1970's, so really pleased that there's still some of it still going, well happy.

Seeing signs of new growth on all the plants, just giving them a bit of gentle watering, does anyone feed their plants when young? I never used too.
