Slow for me this evening, pages load very slowly, and I just tried using a reply button but after a couple of minutes of trying to load it stopped bothering.
I then just answered without the quote in the post, takes too long.

I've only just come one but so no real problems as it appears to be fast enough, although last night at times it really slowed down. Having said that I was also on Photobucket and that was the same.:dunno::snork:

If it gets any slower here, I'll have to give up:gaah: I've only got 30 years or so to live......
Despite the decrepit laptop I'm using, other sites are OK.

No problems for me today. :blue thumb:

I seem to remember that, after other reports of problems, it was recommended to clear cookies. Don't know whether that may be a solution now.

I must confess I clear all the cookies on the computer every time after using it just as a matter of habit. I also do a check with all the security programs to make sure nothing bad has sneaked in.:paladin::snork:

I just suffered a short spell of the computer hanging instead of working quickly, but it's working okay now....I've got a feeling this is a Net problem.:dunno::scratch::snork:

As you can see I'm now double posting as when I click post absolutely nothing happens, then I click it again and it posts immediately.
          But twice.

          I've had that one!

But to make it clear, these errors/slowdowns/shutdowns are completely intermittent and of very short duration. When starting this thread I had to start all over again as this site gummed up when trying to upload pics of error messages. All other sites were OK, just GC.

Other times, I've checked lots of other sites are OK, confirmed it's just GC that is down, gone to the GC facebook page to check it out, then come back to GC to find it's up again - that's the nature of the problem.

So anybody/everybody could miss it unless they're on & off the site all day. Having said that, I've not had any problems today.

And here's another problem (too much homebrew?):

When I got the error message it was in times new roman font. After copying it and pasting it in this thread, anything I typed afterwards was in times new roman and not arial. See below....
