Nearly eighteen quid for a pair of rubber gloves!

Words (polite) fail me. Is there anyone stupid enough to pay that?

Hi, agree most of the pink stuff is exorbitant- but I found a pink trug for my daughter in local garden centre, same price as the other colours- had to have it to go with her pink hair :D
Regarding ratings, as they are averages someone with only a few good ratings can be effectively downgraded; for someone with a higher number of ratings the effect is smaller. Like Hornbeam I was worried in case I had upset someone, until I saw that the changes happened at the same time as the 'trolls', some of whom managed 5* with no postings!
I think a low rating is deserved for being bullying, rude, or offensive in a post, not for having strong opinions, particularly if as in Hornbeams' case they are backed up by extensive and sound knowledge. [IMG]
Think the ratings are helpful to newcomers with questions; if someone has 10 ratings and shows as 5*, they are highly likely to know what they are talking about!
