Dw i'n siarad tipyn bach o Gymraeg, Kaz.

Well, a very small amount of Welsh, if I'm honest. :heehee: I'm not sure I'll ever win my struggle with the language, but it is beautiful.

Unfortunately I'm not from Wales, Kaz, but I love it and visit as often as I can - hence my struggles with the language (mutations! The language is like the weather - highly changeable). This year I didn't make it over the border (I didn't want to leave my elderly, invalid cat) and I've missed everything about Wales - even the rain!! I have a Welsh friend who lives just up the road from me (she's originally from Caernarfon) and she always bursts into tears whenever I show her my Welsh holiday snaps. Admittedly, I'm not much of a photographer :heehee:, but I can see exactly why the landscape still has such an emotional pull for her.

speaking it day to day is far different to the written words and then of course slang welsh creeps in every where and having never studied the language it can be a knightmare my daughter is forever correcting me lol, it is beautiful, originally from the pembrokeshire coast which is just stunning, by now near swansea, Rain has been scarce here this year but the last 24 hours seem to made up for it

:) Yes, I'm sure it's very different when you've learnt Welsh as a spoken language. A while back we had to get a sign translated into Welsh at work. We wanted to make sure it was absolutely correct, so we got the Welsh Language Board to do the translation. The only native Welsh speaker in the office hated the result, so he got on the 'phone to the whole of his extended family back in Wales. Everyone had their own version, and each swore that only theirs would do! :heehee:

The Pembrokeshire coast is on my list of must-see places; I haven't been there yet. Glad to hear the weather has been kind this year!:dbgrtmb:

It was taken from the terrace of a hotel called La Badia in Sorrento. I think it was once an abbey - nice view across the Bay of Naples.

Ok, I'll probably regret this :D, but this is 'moi' on my wedding day last October; hence the not very practical gardening clothing :D :thumb:
