            I quite like Fairytale, but I cannot see how it's classed as one of the GREAT Xmas songs.
            A. its maudlin.
            B. the radio shows & TV shows are always editing the lyrics to avoid offending various people groups.

            If it's not transmittable, how can it be great?

              It's all a matter of taste really - my Mum likes White Christmas for petes sake!!!!!

              I reckon that it's a pretty honest reflection of most households at some point over the christmas season!

              And anyway, I hate christmas. Bah humbug and all that!

              We likewise, don't exchange presents, only put tree and zillions of lights up and ... have a Chinese every Christmas Day! :yess: Have cooked duck for 15 plus years but now go out to a restaurant with friends .. who fortunately have similar views and tastes as us .. they are Jewish and we are ex-Catholic ... :heehee: :loll:.. but we all love our different styles of music .. and play it LOUD ... :D
