Favourite songs from way back when.

I listened to the beatles at one of their London concerts on youtube..all the girls screaming...but on film you could still hear them singing..quite flat in places and not at all like their records..thinking maybe they did not need to try their best with all the noise....

 

A fantastic band where sadly four of them died in a plane crash too young, including Bill Chase ...

I have not been a fan but it left its mark on me back then. listening to him today with his wife with dementia suffering now for quite a while. He is unable to take care of his needs because she needs him for everything. He is housebound basically and uses humour to ease his pain. Complex but a good sole.

 

He is indeed, they even adopted Nora's daughter's children when she died. It's a devastating illness.

 

Ritchie Valens, very young talented guy who died aged 19 in the planecrash with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper ...



... and the wonderful Don McLean who wrote about it ...



And someone with a similar name, Ricky Valance who died last year ...

 

I love this,,,,louder the better,,,wish is was a tad more 'aggressive style' though...

 

Still works for me today.......never have another KK again..
