[IMG] Here is my 2nd entry. This is a favourite place of mine. Come into my Secret Garden, yes through there.!! This is actually in a public place, nobody can see you, but hardly anyone ever goes there. As you can see. The perfect place to sit & contemplate...! [IMG]

    [IMG] My 3rd photo.
This Kissing Gate is a lovely example of 18th centuary ironwork. In Victorian times it was a tradition for Brides to enter the church through this gate. You can almost hear the shouts of "My Dress!!"... :D The actual entrance dates back to Saxon times as does part of the church. The original Saxon village was on this side of the church. Alas it is just a "footpath" now!!

This has been a tough competition this month but here goes with my 3 entries.

A home for Dryads, Meliae or nymphs, or, just a gnarled and venerable tree with a hole for bats or maybe an owl. Would you dare walk past under a full moon?

    BOOOhh!

A hidden spring feeds the small burn running down through Balbirnie park.

On the Fife Coastal Path near Ravenscraig Castle, Kirkcaldy. Part of the ancient fortifications. Edinburgh is in background on the other side of the Firth of Forth

My third entry: The entrance to a lovely Broads nature reserve. A wonderfully mysterious place.

No 3, still not really an entrance, but I suppose it would be if I had a boat.
