So, Sandvik are French, That explains why the Chairman of the Board is named Clas Ake Hedstrom, the President and CEO is Lars Pettersson. And 2 of the main shareholders are, AB Industrivarden and Svenska Handersbanken`s Pension Foundation.:gnthb:

Sandvik are a Swedish company with subsideries in 130 countries. So, the ones you have would be stamped as " Made in France ".:gnthb:

I'm guessing but I think what we have here is Sandvik an original Swedish company joined with Pradines of France who have more recently been taken over by Bahco who make ****.

    but Felco are definitely Swiss

Why is it, that all the good tool companies have been taken over by cheap and nasty tool companies, who then go about down grading the quality.
What is the point of taking over a company, just to drag it down.

Thats how it seems to me anyway.

David you amaze me, where do you find this kind of very interesting info.:ywn::D

Sandvik always used a fish symbol on their saws, as a trademark, another bit of useless info.:D
