Fern spores?

      After 'sowing' the ferns in February (as the video shows), now I have two small colonies of little ferns and some prothallia.

        I remember once experimenting by just laying a fern leaf with hundreds of spores on it on some compost in a seed tray (lower part facing upwards) and then simply sifting a very thin layer of compost on it, watered it and put it in a sheltered spot outside and after a few months I had about 20 or so baby ferns in the tray :dbgrtmb:
