Fig trees in Italy

Scotkat , figs are really easy to propagate from cutting , in March just ask the forum or if you don`t mind the quality just grown them by seeds , at this time of the years you should find the dry figs around , get the seeds out of them.
Figs can take severe cold or grow them in a pot.

in spain figs often loose their leaves, but too much water and will grow tall and not much fruit
also pùt bottles with holes with some chenical to attract flys into the bottle and die, you could ask your local place for some spray for insects of fig trees, i would prune the fig trees all the long shoots hard.
