I dont think that is the best time, think about it, when would most insects be on the move and buzzing, 7 am at this time of the year is usually pretty cold.

I also dont really want to interupt any insects. I very rarely do garden stuff midday anyway as its to hot but as i said before im not 100% convinced that there are enough pollinating insects around which is why im trying to do this myself

I just do my peach when it’s convenient. I try and do it every day for a week or so, on the basis that it is part of my routine enough that I’m likely to remember and then hopefully enough so if I do miss a day it doesn’t matter. As said we usually get a good crop (enough for two of us to enjoy) but probably only maximum 30% ratio fruit:flowers

Interestingly, I think I’ve seen more insects than usual this year in the GH but none have seemed interested in the peach blossom

Forgot to add - I wouldn’t worry about interrupting the insects. As said they don’t seem interested in my peach but in my experience, deadheading flowers etc, the insects just get on with it around you

I'm interested as to where you are as you say it's too hot around midday.
