Flowering Ginger

    This was mine start of August and it still looks about the same, I do think its starting to lose some growth, I asume this is how it will die back and i will put it in the greenhouse until next year soon as the nights now have a distinct chill to them.[​IMG]

    This is mine, have been advised it could be H. coronarium as it more white then yellow.
    This is it's first year so hopefully a bigger flower next year.

    Lots of green growth on mine this year but no flowers, but didn't expect any.. Hopeful for next year though.. Mine's has been in the green house all the time though..

    I only grow two kinds at the moment, H. Gardnerianum

    and Densiflorum, this has no scent but I find it totally hardy and reliable, flowers early as well.

    And if its pollinated, it does this in autumn.
