Our color is normally fantastic, however, for whatever reason the leaves this year were very muted. Still, flying the drone is a joy even in October's gloomy weather.

Autumn (Fall) is very colourful here this year Hydrogardener. Perhaps you should send your drone this way.

My battery would never last the trip and I'd have to ditch in the Atlantic. :yikes:

I can't believe that the state would build that monstrosity of a building that sticks out like a sore thumb in such a beautiful spot. It is a Nature Center they say; I think they should have made it longer and lower so it did not rise above the canopy of the trees, it is not like they are hurting for land. :rolleyespink:

Perhaps I should send them the photo and say: Now, look what you did! You could at least paint the darn roof green!

Not a good idea then. :)

You're right it is a blot on the landscape! Does it have a metal roof?

They just completed the building and opened it this spring, and yes the roof is metal to shed the snow load.

I can understand having a curved roof but there was no need for a metal one. Cost I suppose?

It may be just late in the season but there seems to be a lot of burnt orange color this season. My son keeps pestering me to upgrade to a newer model drone but I am going to stick with Old Reliable. It always manages to come back home, just like a carrier pigeon. :snorky:

The colouring is the same here, possibly because we had a very dry summer. I'll have to get out with my camera before it all disappears. :)

It's probably more reliable than a pigeon. My brother has racing pigeons that quite often don't return.
