The only way I know to downsize pics is I email them to myself (by right-clicking on pic - choose Mail Recipient from the "send to" option) - you can then choose the size (s m l) - once emailed I then download them to desktop and they are ready to upload. I think this is a bit long-winded - but it works.

Okay Noisette, but you can give this a try, there might just be a facility on Vista that works similar to Windows 7.

If I right click on a photo I get a drop down box. On there is 'Edit' that I click on, that will bring up the 'Resize' facility on the top left toolbar of my computer screen. I click on that and another box appears with a percentage resize facility. I reduce the percentage to about 50% that should reduce enough for GC. Once that's done exit the picture and save on the following box. If you have something similar, beware though, as once you've reduced the picture you can't change it back, not that I've found anyway.
