We have supported them for years, have the flag flying. For having control for 70% Ghana kept them on their toes. I am a Ronaldo fan. :heehee:

Are the players now going to wear rainbow hats and armbands?

Football is on ITV tonight, often I notice that the news midday on BBC gets moved to BBC2 or vice versa.

You could watch the BBC new channel.

Saka is the only England player that takes anyone on, Kane waits in the middle to get something given to him, Greelish yeah , he works at it.
The rest are just back passers.

You get these kinds of games, however, if the USA had won many would be saying it was a shock. If the states had a prolific goal scorer, they would have beaten us, it would have been nothing more than they deserved. Yet Southgate in the after-match interview stated we controlled the game playing out from the back  I don't think we controlled the game anywhere on the pitch.
Excluding the win against Iran, that is 4 draws and 3 loses in our last 8 matches. Never rated Southgate, if he had been a league manager with them results, he would have been sacked.

I think they were just aiming to not lose. Put in minimum effort to keep the scoreline adequate to win the group

I tend to not get too excited when England are playing, its generally a disappointment. The way I see it, ‘we’ just ain’t good enough, never will be.
