Football is on ITV tonight, often I notice that the news midday on BBC gets moved to BBC2 or vice versa.

You get these kinds of games, however, if the USA had won many would be saying it was a shock. If the states had a prolific goal scorer, they would have beaten us, it would have been nothing more than they deserved. Yet Southgate in the after-match interview stated we controlled the game playing out from the back I don't think we controlled the game anywhere on the pitch.
Excluding the win against Iran, that is 4 draws and 3 loses in our last 8 matches. Never rated Southgate, if he had been a league manager with them results, he would have been sacked.

 

I tend to not get too excited when England are playing, its generally a disappointment. The way I see it, ‘we’ just ain’t good enough, never will be.
