Formatting gone goofy

There was a banner up already announcing the server woes.
The "reported posts" link is a dead link from an add-on which was enabled on previous layout.
The changes were mostly cosmetic and didn't warrant downtime.
There was no time to give the normal notice, GC has been going down each night not only causing disruption to the members, but frankly while I can always bring it back online, the consistent server work is a (unpaid) drain on my time when I have a stack of clients awaiting paid work.

 

It's all a bit spooky!!

Excuse my ignorance (I'm not very good with the 'techy' lingo), but is this going to be the new look? It takes a bit of getting used to, but as in the past, I can get used to it If it means that we can get rid of the somewhat annoying downtime, lets have it I've probably totally misunderstood all the previous posts, but obviously Richard is doing all he can to put things right for us

Yep, there's a new banner on the way but this is it for now.

 

i have seen a sneak peek of the new logo and its really nice.

Also changes have caused the server memory load to drop by 60% (a very good thing)

I think the current site looks a lot cleaner. It will take a bit of getting used to because its different, but that's not a bad thing.

Its less than 24 hours since I last logged on (before just now), and in that time it looks like a lot of good work has been done. Most of it out of peak hours too. Well done and thanks to Richard.

 

Just in case anybody's already feeling nostalgic about the old banner/logo
