    yes the lag is awful, i am gonna try and look into whats causing it

            Same here, but I think the reason is the magic worked by @Richard.r yesterday has unblocked the problem that notifications were somehow being lost. Now the system is doing a catch up, and those lost email alerts are gradually being sent to us all.

              @wiseowl and @JWK I haven't had any notifications for months, nor am I getting any caught up in the works since the latest intervention. I did post my notification problem in the Site Feedback section a while back but pas de reponse by the Mods who I suppose were round the back having a doughnut and a coffee as per :snork:
              Site seems a bit nippier today though so that is good.

                Can't get into the filter to change that mistake for the word cigarette either.

                Had a look in your shoebox GG, can't see anything unplugged :dunno:

                      I've had similar issues GG - loads of nothing, and then a dose of emails all at once and days late. I think all the glitches that we have been seeing were related to be honest -- probably a loose whatchamacallit or hoodgacadiffy upsetting the balance of the flux-capacitor.... :snork:

                            Argh, have been outed about my mouse poo fetish, you naughty man.

                            Afraid my joy was short-lived. Very sluggish again, and my stampede of notifications have ground to a halt already so soon. Also took me 3 goes to log-in, though that could just be Ziggy trying to keep the riffraff out.
