Foxes. Love or hate?

The bananas did come back from the roots, but are a bit weedy looking. We used to wrap the old ones up each winter, but they simply got too big to be able to do that. The trunks were bigger than the drainpipes that we used to put over them!
Some of my cordelines came back, but pretty stunted.
One good thing, is that all 3 of my Tracycarpus sailed through, and the smallest is only about 5ft high (altogether). I don't know how big the biggest is, but I can easily stand underneath is
