They are lovely pics - we have had foxes here in the close!
I couldn't believe the noise the mother fox was making calling her cubs into line.
There was a piece of land here with an old barn and the foxes came from there, Unfortunately it has been built on now so the foxes have had to find a new home.

Hi Perriwinkle Yes the Fox resides with me as soon as the Cubs are Big enough I might just be able to get a Photo of them. Pork luncheon meat ,Duck eggs ,Most things really,I don,t condone In anyway the surplus Killing of Chickens The only logical reason I can Give is that How ever many the Fox Kills Its for food ,The reason being IMHO is that the Fox will bury the surplus ,which Is called a Cache to return and eat Later ,Obviously when It returns for the surplus Chickens he cannot gain entry or there Is someone there,so He does return for them, but then has to leave them,Perhaps this Might help you to Understand that he hasn't really Killed more than he can eat,But having studied them a Little you must remember This Is only my own Personal View,If I were on the other side of the Fence say a Poultry farmer ,and It was my Living I would probably have a different oppinion about my Foxy Friends:thumb::) Hope this has been of some help:)

Hi Woo,sorry I have missed this thread before as I am not on here much at the moment:o You are really lucky to have these Magnificant animals in your garden:thmb: and to get photos of them is brilliant:) We always stop and watch them when we are out walking and they haven't heard us with their radar ears, although once on the Isle of White our Tina chased one that was walking across a country lane but it was through the fence and away across the fields pretty sharpish when it saw us,so we whistled her back and the fox went on it's way and Tina was a happy pup that she had had a little chase I think if she had caught up with it she would have tried to play with it.:D

:thmb: Oh Woo your photos of them get better by the day as they gain confidence.. Wonderful to see... Sadly yes in the wild they can sometimes seem senseless in the way they behave, but I think you sum it up very well Woo.. :thmb:

:) They are.. Beautiful creatures, but nature, full stop is not what we call "Kind" by any means.. Anywhere... Even the humble snail can wage a sensless killing spree on our plants....!!!! The damage they wreak in a night..!!!! :dh::wink::hehe:

:thmb: Look forward to more of your pics & maybe the family too then Woo..!!:thmb:

:) Those pics are just amazing. Yes nature is very cruel at times but look at those brown eyes, how could anyone hurt any creature?

Look forward to more pics :thumb:
