I'm continuing with the water or coke experiment, which surprisingly isn't becoming tedious - and as predicted, coke is winning hands down. It has also become clear that I have been gifted a talent; just as Jesus turned water into wine, I can change bacardi and coke into water! Process takes a wee while, and I wouldn't suggest that the end result is potable, but the principle is there :snork:

I seem to have spent a large part of the day walking, I walked my dogs, had lunch then went to visit my Son who hadn't walked his dogs yet so we both took them for a long walk around a local field. Then I came home and gave my own dogs another walk!!! No wonder I never put on any weight!! :doggieshmooze:

Saw the first proper big glistening dragon flies since i was a child. They were as majical as ever! A couple of mr men books and now a film

Just watched The Sapphires on Lovefilm - not a bad wee film to be fair, and I am really hard to please when it comes to films.

I'm now 'chillin' after two days of 'kiddie-squashing' oops - sorry 'sitting' ;). My brain feels as though it's been 'mushed' by the 'first three' Star Wars films, The Goonies and Spongebob Square Pants :rolleyespink:. The weather has been absolutely rotten so unable to get out into the fresh air with them - let the eldest out with his friends for a while, but felt quite claustrophobic with the 4yr old. Local play area isn't worth taking him to - full of nasty groups of young teens .

Now got a Lemon Drizzle Cake in the oven for my shift in a Charity Shop tomorrow afternoon - the one that I made on Saturday evening was scavenged as soon as it was made :frown:.

I've also got a bridesmaid's dress to alter and a Bridal Ring Pillow to make for Saturday for eldest son's wedding :thud: .............. might just go back to second son's house for the night :heehee:!

Been busy here as well, am setting up a new filter for my fish tank, some pots arrived that had no drainage holes so I had to drill them out, also planning on where to put 2 new roses I have ordered (only small ones), in between taking dogs out TWICE, going shopping, :phew:

I've been at MIL's today playing at my old job (hi-fi engineer) and getting BIL's kit working properly for him; then it was home for a lovely bowl of homemade soup and poppy seed loaf - - three guesses what the soup was??

Sort of all three in some ways - it was tomato soup, and it was gorgeous; had onion, celery and carrot in it so I suppose it could class as vegetable too, and was followed up by a Bacardi or four :)
