    Last of the leeks

Dug up the last of the leeks yesterday and today, got 18 good sized ones which filled 9 self-seal sandwich bags when dehydrated. These should keep us going until next Autumn.

We've had a couple of meals with the frozen leeks now. They are delicious and although a little softer due to being frozen the consistency is still good.

My leeks which were looking so good this year have all been afflicted by rust, so loads are being frozen before they deteriorate further because previously if left insitu it's devastated them.
