Frogs

    I am coming to kidnap some of that spawn!..as i still have none...their is a pond near me over the field and i told my friend we would go and look on thursday if we see any then i will send her in to collect it...

    I suspect the rudd and mirror carp will be putting on a growth spurt this year. I have no fish in the top pond though.

    Pretty middle here and I've got two ponds heaving with frogs and buckets of spawn. Trouble is that the frogs climb over the spawn in their frenzy and dislodge it off the weed and a lot sink.

    I am in the central part of england i still have none..yesterday i made my friend climb down a muddy bank to search for spawn in a local pond and we found nothing..she was covered in mud i wasnt popular and their was no sign of anything going on at all...

    mine are STILL in amplexus but not produced anything, milder climate or not they should have by now. My fire bellied toads I have indoors are all male so at least they have a reason not to! :( [​IMG] :(

    red cross time, S - what's up with your smilies?? has your IT dept caused a prob, like with mine? And surely he shoudl have sorted out that avatar for you by now?? I'd sack him if I were you!

    Stronglydon - I would check out your pc security - if your using IE then lower your security to medium. If your using Norton or something like, then take a look at your settings. Sounds like a security problem

    none here either but i found my mouse dead in my pond this morning he was living under the logs around it...we called him seamus and it was really sad..he must have gone for a drink and fell in....
