    Some of today's visitors.

Two males. The females get up earlier than the males and have already had their breakfast. :hehe:

A slightly out of focus shot from 60ft away. Some of our finches (note to self - must fill up the feeder :))

Super pics of those fancy chickens Shiney:thumb: When I saw them I couldn't help thing about my dad - he'd a long barrel 0.22 target rifle and any game that made the mistake of trespassing in our garden ended in the pot.

There's more meat on a chicken :hehe:

There were nine females in the garden earlier this morning but there wasn't enough light to take a photo. They, and three males, are around the garden most of the day and are not worried that I might use my 0.22 on them. I use that only for the rats - but Oscar now keeps the rats out of the garden. He is quite happy with the pheasants being here and they take no notice of him when he is prowling around :gnthb:

Strongy, I think so. I've never really thought about what birds aren't around most of the year. Nearly all of them seem to pop into the garden regularly. The collared doves never seem to miss a day and the pheasants are always around. :gnthb:

Set up the camera during the RSPB bird count this morning. Was really pleased when this female blackbird arrived on the bird table. The two mature males in the garden are fairly tame, but the ladies have been quite shy so far.

Thanks WOO. I was really pleased to see Mrs Blackbird hop up onto the bird table and pose for me as she's been rather shy so far.

Photo was 1/13 second @ f18, ISO 200 with zoom at 100mm and taken from a distance of about 9 feet. Took around 120 pics this morning with only about 4 half decent ones
