Came very close last night, my garden is on a hill-side and that was OK - no sign of frost damage on my summer bedding plants. Lower down on the road I had to scrape my car's windscreen. The car's thermometer said 4C (at 6:45 this am) then as I drove down into Guildford it got colder and colder, -1C in Town and looking very frosty.

Frost on the car and a few of the top leaves of the Nasturtiums seem to have caught it, but mainly a heavy dew and mist.

Had a grass frost a week or two back, and a heavier ground frost this morning, but no air frost yet.

First real frost here, it's thawing in the sun now but a very cold start.
Monday's minimum night temp was 12c, last night it was 0c, what difference!

Still only a roof frost here. The Impatiens niamniamensis is still alive and blooming!

No frost here as yet but I don't think it's far off. Temperature is down to 7C today but the high winds and cloud cover will stop any frost.

No air frost yet, but one ground frost. Plenty to come next week. I'll post when I get below 0.0C
