The temperature in the garden here dropped to 5.1C. It's 8.4C at the moment. I've been hardening off a few things but didn't leave anything out last night just incase.

It was very frosty this morning but has warmed up now.

They had forecast 3 nights of frost but they've now changed that to only frosty last night. Apparently a High is coming up from the SW and will keep the cold weather in the Midlands and further north.

Just a touch of frost with us, it got down to 1 deg C in my unheated greenhouse, glad I had fleeced everything over in there. The heated greenhouse with the bananas and Brugs was OK, and by the time I got up this morning the temp had rocketed to over 20 deg C. Now it's a lovely day - fingers crossed that's the last of the cold nights.

Still waiting for this ere frost, Reckon its just a load of hype tho I haven't planted out my runners yet mainly because I have been making marmalade and a big mess in the kitchen . Daughter went of to Italy in her Bongo to visit her old neighbours at Easter came back with 5lbs of Kumquats, and 10lbs of fresh Lemons picked from their garden, Just had to deal with them immediatly the house smells wonderful but the sticky washing up is not so good.

Had some ice in the top[ of the cold frame when I opened it up this morning.

Its been a fairly sunny day, but never warm, the temp is dropping again now.
                    I'm expecting another frost tonight.

I wouldn't even say it was 'cold' here last night and no sign of temps dropping tonight BUT, if you do get frost I hope you all come through it unscathed! I know you put a lot of thought and work into your gardens.

No damage done here and thin cloud cover that has now drifted in after a gorgeous sunny day should ensure temps stay well above freezing tonight, currently at 8.30pm its still 13 degrees :)
