        When I try explaining in 'my location' that I'm also in a frost pocket as well as being on heavy clay soil I run out of characters.

        Are you sure its set right, looks to me like it should have been roughly around 1008 at midday today in your area.
        Mines reading 1012 at the moment.

              Oh well just bear in mind you need to add 12 mbs to whatever it says, simple, but not right.

                    I would say Armandii's barometer is right. He's just over the water from me and mines reading a 1006 at the moment. It's dropped with rain promised all this week.

                      That's because I live on a small island and the sea being so close helps to create a slightly different weather pattern and warmer, damper atmosphere. The island rarely gets snow and very little frost. :)
