I think we might get a frost tonight in London. Finally time to bring in the Chilis and lemongrass.

Forecast for tonight is 1 C and tomorrow night it's -4 C. That should bring some changes and my Ginny Creeper might even turn red. Too late for the October competition though!

We were forecast a frost last night -1 C, and sure enough we got it, but it was cold enough to affect the gardens near the sea. We too are forecast a cool -4 C. tonight, and it's geting sooo cold outside. I had to brak the ice on my chicken and ducks water bowls this morning, so i guess i'll have to take a mallet out in the morning to crack the ice.

So I'll be in the garden today moving some plants into the greenhouse.

Scotkat - interesting about Fuschias. I wouldn't have dared to drench them in Jeyes Fluid. I assume you cut most of foliage off before. But if you put a damp plant, even after allowing it to dry, into a sealed polythene bag what about botyritis - or is that the reason for the Jeyes Fluid. Can you do this with other plants as well?
