These are the two " cluster flowered " Fuchsias. ( There are crosses between them but they are really just variations).

    F. Arborescens

    F. Paniculata

As you can see they are more like heads of Lilac ( Syringa ), hence their common name " The Lilac Fuchsia ".

Nice one! You get a gold star for that. :star: So it's a mixture of the two plants, is it on your shopping list? :)

No, I don't really do Begonias. All that drying off of the corms and keeping them safe over winter puts me off.
Knowing me I'd put them somewhere safe and then forget where they were.
I've already lost.... misplaced 20 pkts of seeds I bought out of Wilkinsons and that was only a month ago !

I'm with you on the Begonias, plus the fact they are temperamental. I tried them a few years ago without success and again this year, they were pathetic so it's time to give them up as a lost cause.

How can you lose 20 packets of seeds? :doh:Have you frisked all your pockets etc.? Talking of seeds my Suttons and Unwins catalogues arrived while I was away, I daren't look at them yet.

I have Mrs Popple down my side fence, comes through the hardest winters, and flowers better every year.
No Anthony, don`t recall any Cloverdales, although it could have had a different label anyway, so many are misnamed.
