    Hi Sheal,

Yeah just a couple this year :roflol:

The one I'm most looking forward to is " Neapolitan ", it's unusual In that it has white, pink and red flowers all at the same time and it's unique in that it's the only scented Fuchsia.

Like you @Sheal , I can't keep up with the number of Fuchsia names . I think Anthony et al have a random Fuchsia name generator program  I've not heard of one of the above ! I'll publish my "common as muck" fuchsia list in April :snork:

The ice cream does look good but it wouldn't go down well with the tortilla chips I'm munching on at the moment.

Me, a delicate little flower! :roflol:

Hello Fuchsia people. As said in another thread, I purchased 2 lots of 6 plug plants from Wilcos yesterday and rather than planting them out, I re potted them into 4 inch pots and put them under cover. They are only tiny at about one and a half inches tall but they seem to have good roots and are healthy and were well packaged in a gell to aid water retention. I hope I have done the right thing? They are bush plants rather than trailing to put into the borders I have in mind.
                  The 2 varieties are:
Winston Churchill and 6 dollar princess.
All advice appreciated as usual and thanks in advance. Cheers, Russ

                    Hi Rustler,

There's not a lot to add to what you've already done :)

Just that when they get to about 3" tall pinch out the growing tip to encourage a bushier plant, and then after about another month or so pinch them out again on all the side shoots that have grown.

PS... The " Dollar Princess " are hardy so if they're planted out correctly they can stay out permanently.

                      Hi Ian,

I get all my unusual ones from Clay Lane Nursery in Surrey. I've posted the phone number on a post up above, but if you can order off the tinternettywebby thingy ( I can't ) there's a lovely online catalogue with photos of every one he sells.

They're the best mail order I've ever had Ian.
I also like that they come unstopped, so I'll give them a week or so to settle in and then use the tips as cuttings. That means for everyone you buy you get two hence cutting the price by half immediately :)
