I even thought I would walk as some of my clients not far from house mary waslk with my trug full of hand tools:) Or bike to them.
As I have to conserve my fuel as my MIL going into hospital for an op Mon and tomorrow to take my FIl to a nursing home for resbite then in the week up and down to see how they are and washing.

    This is not funny.

I know where you are coming from Kath when things like fuel strikes happens the people that stop the fuel from getting to us 'the common man' forget that if their actions affects us too long we don't feel the need to back them with quest for better things be it jobs, pensions etc.

After all they are quite a lot of people that rely on their own cars for health reasons like Bob who really needs to get to the hospital asap if his potassium levels gets dangerous high it's happen twice last year and the year before we nearly had a police escort to aid us on our journey and that's just one of his medical conditions! :eek:Hel.xxx.

Shiney, whenever we have been up to Scotland for our holidays the petrol was always more expensive than what it is down our way,one reason why we stopped going to Scotland each year for our holidays. You best ask the Scots why it has always been the case.Mr Kandy was told one reason years ago but it would be nice to hear it straight from the horses mouth so to speak:D

Never come across such expensive petrol - £124.9 (or is it £1.24 per litre?). I once lived in Edinburgh and worked at the refinery - petrol was always a tad more expensive in Scotland........
