Apart from the leaves yellowing I can't see much else wrong. The fruit look OK to me as does the stem. So I still think its magnesium deficiency, rather than it being a virus.

Thanks for the reassurance about this, I guess I would be like many first time tom growers and worried about infection/disease and potentially losing a crop. I'll keep at it.

    "I'll keep at it"

You said that earlier, and worried me!

Its two spraying with Epsom salts, and you've done [or are about to do] one, and the second is 2 weeks later, right?

More probably won't hurt, but that's the Standard Operating Procedure :D

John suggested every night for a week, which is what I have been doing...but I have missed one night.

Oh, did he? OK then ... given I think two applications, a fortnight apart, will do then missing one night shouldn't matter :thumb:

i have the same issue on my cherry tom plants, did some research and came up with calcium deficiency cured by sprinkling crushed egg shell round the stem base and watering to get the calcium to the plant.
i'm using the aldi growbags and container compost with no issues.

never heard of the epsoms salt trick...i'll try that :)
