AAAH now at home I can see the pictures.

Thanks Bob for a helpful and informative link.

Scrugee, I can only feel for you as I have no pain in the back just the side where the wife puts the knife in.

Armandii, I think that animals rule your roost, so less said the better. If I don't then trouble will ensue, of that I am sure.

Finally Clueless, I have many ideas that have for some reason albeit gone by the wayside. Not for wanting to get things up and running. People are not for new ideas nowadays, but for finance. Driven by the need to swell the coffers and not improve their innovative brains. Make a quick buck then off, I however would like people to have some thought into what they are creating and if possible allow the rest of the world to sit in comfort. This without the need for aids from people who again want to create something to ease sitting and not change the way we build the item in the first instance.
They would rather add to something than take it apart and see where it can be improved.

No, landimand, animal's don't rule the roost in my garden or Household I assure you:biggrin: But I do respect their right to have a good life, food, warmth and safety. Having said that the Cats know the rules, no bird killing, no toileting in the garden, no damage to my plants, and in return the freedom of the garden and House is theirs, although they're not allowed in the bedrooms!:cat-kittyandsmiley::biggrin:

They definitely would have got on well with Oscar. He had the same rules - but he set them :heehee:. Not only was there no bird killing but he was very protective of the birds in his garden. Other cats were forced to stick to the rules, kestrels and hawks were chased off, no squabbling allowed between birds and definitely no foxes allowed!

not sure if this is comfortable, but with a few cushions it could be? .... I like these sorts of benches, especially when they get old and have moss etc

          http://www.n-sculpture.com/

          search google for 'stone bench'

here is a company in manchester that sells stone benches:
          http://www.iconicstone.co.uk/carved-stone/stone-benches/

pricey! ..... I have seen better (genuine antique) ones sell at auctions that specialise in architectural salvage .... and they sell for cheap

search ebay and your local gumtree aswell

So important to be able to plonk yourself down sometimes. This little bench, purchased in April 1996 cost £99.99!! It has survived 3 moves and gets Sadolin and TLC most years. A comfy little bench that I really love. Garden bench 001 (600x800).jpg
