    Weed suppressant fabric is always UV stabilised. The spun bound fabric, which is also used to make fleece can tear very easily compared to the woven fabric.

    Isn't Dungeness flat though @flounder? Having the wind whipping across there probably chills to the bone. :rolleyespink:

      Well I picked up the fleece this morning, its fairly thick and I'm hoping a double thickness will be enough, really that depends on the type of winter we get.

      It doesn't seem to tear easily, which is good.

      Its definitely thicker than you can buy in garden centres and its not the kind of stuff you could just drape over plants without some support, it would flatten young plants especially if it got wet.

      How good it is remains to be seen.
