Himself is a collector of all sorts but mainly chickens.
We have a couple of metal chickens in the garden plus a metal dog and cat and owl.

apart from one chicken, none of the others have been purchased, but been given as presents.
Trouble is Himself gives them names as well. The Dog is called Nodders, the Owl is called Ollie and I have already forgotten the names of all the others.

Ivory's photo of the bird bath is nice and I'd not mind something like that in my garden.

But there is no way I'd have gnomes..

I have lots of ceramic hedgehogs in my garden with their snouts poking out through the hostas which I think look very appealing as for gnomes...I don´t know, I prefer "natural" additions.

dont have gnomes.but mad about garden solar lights.i have 26 placed in strategic spots in the garden.6 under the sweet peas, which glow at night under the sweet peas.i have 2 tiffany standard lamps, about 5 feet tall with baskets of fuchsias hanging from the lights. i have tiffany lights all along the tops of the garden fences.i have 2 spot lights, that change 3 colours on the bottom of the garden.
they are on brackets, shining up the garden.on a late summers night it looks (GREAT).
sitting there with your, G+T, just watching the world go bye.
(ONLY PROBLEM ,SOME NIGHT IT MAY GET TAKEN FOR A RUNWAY BY SOME LOST PILOT!!!!!).

I really don`t mind some garden ornaments i myself have a couple of "buddhas" and some arty things ,
I do not like the cute type and i will certainly object if she tries to stick owls and such to my side of our shared fence
