Looking forward to seeing photos when it's completed.

My wife thinks I've too much "chill out stuff."
    These are my "all-weather" indulgences

She can't complain, our lounge is twice the size of our front room and there's a bigger TV on cable in there and there's another DVD/CD player and VHS recorder, (though rarely used) It's more "her room" so she has the choice of programmes, so anything "trumps football." But I'm not that bothered. I rarely watch anything live.

Well I've just gone out side to sit as it was a bit cooler than in doors and took some snaps of the garden at night with my solar lights but the spot light kept coming on :gaah:

Martin thanks mate but they don't show so much with that spot light keep coming on with the slightest movement :gaah:

My impression straight away was richness with your wood colouring and the lights contrasting against it and I don't blame you facing it either as I would [IMG] and those patio doors have done it for you as well...looks stunning mate :wow:

Oh your welcome mate...credit where it's due I say :)

Your lighting how you have it...makes the redness of your wood besides your plants look very rich in colour [IMG]...are you having a plant in the centre of your new lawn as I saw you had a round hole?

I've heard that a new type of outdoor lighting is coming to the retail market which does not bleed up to the skies. I'll watch for that tidbit and share it if possible. :)

We've definitely got some "over-kill," in garden lighting.
                      Currently we have.

                      14 solar globe lights.

A set of red berry fairy lights on the pool pergola, on a timer.

Then controlled by four switches behind the lounge curtains, for the last thirty-odd years.

                      5 porch lights.

                      2 koi pool spot lights.

1 15w fluorescent illuminating the tea-house doors plus a set of fairy lights around the eaves.

2, 30w low voltage spotlights illuminating the mini pagoda and the pool waterfall.

2, 12v lamps illuminating both Japanese lanterns.

These are rarely turned on. Except last thing at night, just to make sure they come on. This is to ensure that the garage circuit hasn't tripped out. Lots of leccy supplying koi pool equipment, a mixture of electricity and water, never a good combination. Also that the two table-top freezers in the the shed, we have for frozen food bulk buys, haven't gone off.
