Kandy, Oscar is usually very good with the plants but he gets in the way when Mrs shiney is working on potting up. He thinks she should be petting him not potting up. :hehe:

Paula, directions have been PM'd to you :gnthb:

rosa, let us know when you are coming to Chelmsford and you could pop over if we are around. :gnthb: It is only 20 minutes down the road.

Thanks rosa, Robert and Kath :thmb:

It was an excellent day but too busy for me to take many photos. I think that Oscar the cat enjoyed the day more than anyone else :hehe:. He's never had so many people to demand petting from :D

We opened at 10.00 and people started arriving straight away.

Oscar checks them as they arrive.

10 minutes after opening there were people wandering all over the garden and a few already coming back to the plant sales area.

By 10.30 cars were parked nearly a quarter of a mile along the road.

Tea and cakes were very popular.

The weather was perfect for us and it is such a worthy charity where the children enjoy themselves, and get play and teaching, whilst the parents get respite. It is run by volunteers.

We haven't yet had time to calculate how much we made for the charity but they will get over something over £1,000 out of it. The plant sale made nearly £400 :yho:
