It's disgusting that they arrested you Chopper but unfortunately it's typical, you are an easy target for the police - but they don't dare go near the Travellers sites.

Too right. However, the cops are not too keen to come and see me on thier own either.

I am old fashioned. Englishmans home is his castle, look after your family, especially your women folk. That sort of thing. I keep getting little reminders that I am the one out of sync with society. I am regarded as someone to avoid because I have no time for PC nonsense. I do not conform to accepted norms. As such I have become a target for the authorities, as have all my club brothers. Wierd, but as a club member I have to obey more rules than most people.

Called in at a garden centre today, a few miles from where I live. I got followed by staff all the time I was there. I get the same if I go somewhere like PC World, I have learnt to ignore it.

    Chopper.

The police were back again last night!! And they were looking for him, and no, they wouldn't tell me why|! He seems to have done a runner - of course, he could be the VICTIM of a crime.....

Yes, I left the spare keys in an envelope, as I always do....er, DID!! That was the envelope he didn't open, which also contained the note about watering the climbing plants!

'Gipsy' is now an unacceptable word, so we use 'traveller' instead. Although I think 'gypsy' sounds rather romantic, whereas 'traveller' sounds like a rather dreary peripatetic salesman.

You'd have to check with Harriet Harperson, but I suspect the answer is no.

None taken Dai :gnthb: I'm just as up for a laugh as you are mate. Just couldn't understand why I got beaten up by scumbags that i'd never met before, never even talked to them, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.:dh:

Blimey, haven't we wandered off topic about watering gardens :dh::flag:
