i agree with all the above. i have heard of similar stories. thankfully it has not happened to me yet. but a friend of mines got her shed burned down during the summer, she lost everything. her new rotivator, shredder amongst many other items. she lost everything and a lot of her two autistic sons toys and bikes etc.
the world is going bonkers. i wish the old values would come back when you could leave a door open and not have to worry.

We had an old galvanised bucket my wife painted into which she planted a crysanthemum. Some idiot had it away, why? who knows, it was too heavy to carry far, but we never saw it again.

At the allotments that I am at, we are having high fencing with spiky bits put up to stop the vandalism. The yobs don't seem to steal anything, they just like smashing the greenhouses!

At a different allotment site in Blackpool, the yobs smashed all the giant pumpkins a couple of weeks ago. Mindless fun to the yobs, but broke a few smiles after all the work and patience that has gone into growing such magnificent specimens.

They do it round here all the time hanging baskets/planters go to car boot sales !! they usually steal most of the hanging baskets in june/early july so they can sell them..its heartbreaking especially for those that have grown the entire basket from seed..its all their hard work gone..And down at the allotments thieves just help themselves!! makes you wonder if its worth having an allotment in a inner city area..or sometimes the plots get trashed by idiots for fun!!I suppose they will soon be out stealing holly and xmas trees..its a seasonal game for the thieves also..

The annoying thing is if these people are caught nothing happens to the poor little darlings.

We had better get used to it cos it ain't gonna change unless we get a party (any party) into Government with some bottle to deal with real life issues
