Managed to have a good few hours in the garden at the weekend which was nice.

Tidies it up well and its starting to mature. Next on my list is to get some trellis up for my climbing plants, add wire for the espalier trees and add curves to the borders in the back garden as not keen on them being completely straight.

Well managed to recover the lawn over the course of the summer. Looks decent again now. Getting ready for the autumn now.

Sorting out the borders is high on my list next year, with the little one I want to move towards hardy evergreen plants if I can. More low maintenance.

              Hi All,

But of an update, garden coming along nicely now and becoming more established. Espalier trees are growing nicely and I am starting to train them. Plans to introduce more evergreen style plants and hide the fences more, add some height and structure to the borders. Hope you all like the progress.

                  Hi All!

Hope you are all well. Although I do not post much in the forums I always read a lot and take a lot of advice.

Current progress on the Garden - Not much has happened really over the winter, things are picking up again now and shoots of growth are appearing everywhere. Lawn is in an awful condition but that will also soon pick up again now.

Started on my next project... a play house! Always wanted one for out little boy but don't want to pay the extortionate prices. So self build it is like the shed... Progress pics so far below. It will fit well into the garden and hoping to complete over the next few days with the good weather. Its currently being built on the patio (needs a pressurewash) before moving to the back left corner of the Garden, will have to move it soon before it gets too heavy.

Our daughter's partner built a playhouse for their four kids, in a similar location. It was about five feet off the ground on stilts, with a railed ladder going up to a landing area also railed and a slide for coming down. All their bikes etc, could be put under it and so kept out of the rain.
