I've managed to progress slightly this weekend, although rain hampered any hopes of just starting and completing the brickwork yesterday.

I had intended to just get to this height and then have an oak frame above, with the outside finished in weather boarding.
Now I'm currently having a bit of a rethink about it and like the idea of having a contrast, so I may just continue on up with brickwork. There are three windows to go in, so there won't really be that many bricks to lay.:)

Neat job Eddie:dbgrtmb: Think i'd prefer timber frame above, but painted white like a victorian glasshouse.

Is it going to stop raining this week ? Itching to get started on my wall too.

We all do that Eddie, life would be boring if we didn't have the odd cockup to sort out.

What on earth are you going to do for fun when you have finished your garden??
