    Oh my *faints* that is lovely!

    Clematis always amaze me - they have really spindly stems yet have massive buds that produce such stunning flowers :D Keep them coming everyone!

    Yes, on mine too... I usually buy mine from Thorncroft, always had good plants.

    I do like your Florida Roders a bit different,
    A lot of my new ones are later but all making good headway.

    We dont remember planting this one and this is the first year that it has bloomed but the petals are very delicate and drop at the first provocation ....

    This was my barbara jackson clematis last year , but i have now put it into the ground, and now it is starting to shoot up so i am glad i have not lost it and it has survived the move . i have also planted a villa de lyons clematis next to it ,so i have yet to see what she will look like . the purple clematis was my first clematis and it was her that got me interested in this great climber.

    I think it is called Henryi but i have lost the label .

    this one is called Guernsey cream and was one of the first to flower this year

    i think this one is called HENRYI , it never lets me down so far , this pic was last year , third year this year that it has flowered for me , full of buds at the momment
