Well this is me. On the top of Coniston Old Man in the Lake District. This is the photo my wife has sent to my cardiologist, my heart surgeon and the cardiac therapy nurses. She is a nurse and she said they would be pleased to know what i had been up to after my double bypass earlier in the year

Well done Geoff! Coniston is a stiff climb even without a bypass.

    - Poppy was pulling me up. It is a hard climb especially if you get lost in the old mine workings. Three seperate groups got lost - each one thought the group in front knew where they were going!!

Hi Geoff,we did the climb up the old man a few years ago.We went throught the old mine workings up past Levers Water, when we stayed in the Copper Mines valley holiday cottages. If we had gone by the Walna Scar route it would have been easier.I am glad you made it though. We had low cloud drop within 5 minutes of reaching the summit which spoilt the view.

Glad you made it though with the help of your dog Poppy [IMG] [IMG]
