You did really well ... just couldn't crop the other pic with the ice cream van. :D

Actually, you look like you'd have been a nice Bobby on the Beat! [IMG]

Err. That wasn't an ice cream van. That was the excursion bus we were on that day. You could have posted the whole piccie. The sight of that bus might have given everyone a giggle. I love Turkey.
Ive still got piccies from that time in my life. When I get a chance I'll e-mail them to you. But FYEO :D

That is the tour bus that took us on a trip to the Aegean.(Just over the mountains) When we first saw it we just fell about laughing, then we had to go on it over mountain roads. We all stopped laughing!!
When we got to the destination ( it was for a boat trip) the guide (Alex) said that if we wanted to have lunch we had to get the grub onto the boat, hence me carrying a water-melon. (Some other bxxxxr grabbed the beer)
It was such a great trip that we booked it for the following week. In the meantime they had used a mini-bus for the trip and the punters had complained that they didn't use the Pink bus. (Look at the figure-head on the cab).
As you can guess, none of the punters were German!! :D

Err. The thing in front is what all the locals (and us) sat on drinking Apple tea and chatting until Alex whinged at us to get onboard where the Efes was waiting :D
I'm sure you'd love to come on holiday with us, as the boss says, " It's never boring" :D
Actually, this was a quite well organised trip compared to some we've been on ;)
    I love Turkey [IMG]

So, I'll introduce you to my Sis, Kedi-Gato from Germany, who also loves Turkey (been there a dozen times or more) and was going to buy there.

I am not inteested in other Med countries at the moment and living in a Med country I am certainly not interested in tours.

I just love touring around the beautiful country I now live in and sometimes showing it to you guys.

    xx

Hmm. I think there's a subtle difference between the East and West Med. The Turkish and the Cretans are a naturally friendly, easy-going people. As regards tours, well, pick the company. If you have to wake the guy up to book a trip, you know you'll get an "interesting one! :D I'll hunt out he piccies.

Thanks LoL, I think I'm getting on quite well and haven't needed pain killers today (yet [IMG] [IMG] ).

That picture is taken on top of Cat Bells in the Lake District. I'm expected to get a small group of walkers up there in a couple of months time so shall need to get my legs working again.

I shall be back playing bridge this afternoon (being picked up as can't drive yet) and another four sessions planned this week. When the weather warms up (hopefully tomorrow) I shall try and walk a mile. [IMG] [IMG] :D
