      Why do GW members have to have their own forum? Why can't they just join in as we all did?
      I hope it's not going to become The GW and GC forum

        There's been a few posts along similar lines.
        This is simply a thread for the displaced GW forum members to find each other amongst some upheaval. I don't believe there's any intention of it being a permanent feature and won't be made a sticky so shall pass as all threads do.
        New members have already contributed to many threads, there's no isolation or exclusion in place so please, should anyone be concerned, don't feel threatened or pushed aside. As always, concerns can be raised to us in the normal established manner :)
        This is Gardeners Corner, with all that it entails and the admin team simply won't allow it to be anything else :dbgrtmb:

          Don't worry, I'm sure we'll all get stuck in to the other parts of the Forum, I have. I posted here on Thursday feeling rather bereft at being thrown out after 12 years by Immediate Media who ran the GW Forum but since then I've had a good wander and posted on other threads. I'm going to enjoy the rose thread. Some of us have known each other a long time and have met each other in person but we don't want to take over your forum, we are just looking for a home where we can join in. We are so grateful for the lovely welcome we've had here.

                    That won't be happening any time soon, GC to me is like a seed which I sowed back in 2004, and has been growing ever since, with a lot of tending and pruning by the great mod/admin team.

                          Hello again everybody.
                          A bit of background from me. I completed a Horticulture certificate many years ago and have loved gardening, both my own and others, but age and long COVID have made a big difference to me. I’m now in my 80 s so I just enjoy catching up as I can.
